RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

R.C.I.A (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

RCIA is the process by which a person progresses toward complete membership in the Catholic Church.  A team of parishioners accompany the person during the process which includes: prayer, discernment, education in the doctrine (teachings) of the Church, introduction and explanation of the Church’s liturgy (worship), introduction to involvement in Church activities, reception of the Sacraments of Initiation.  RCIA is designed and intended for: anyone who wants to know more about the Catholic Church (no strings attached: you are welcome to come, and leave if it is not for you); anyone who wants to become a Catholic (either never baptized, or baptized in another denomination); anyone who was baptized Catholic, but did not receive other Sacraments, or did not receive religious education; anyone – you are welcome!

All those interested, can contact Fr. Paul at the rectory (610-622-2420, ext. 3).
